👋 Kaixo! I’m Iñigo Garcia Olaizola, a software engineer based in Irun, Basque Country, on the banks of the Bidasoa river, surrounded by sea and mountains.

☀️ By day, I work as a Cloud Software Engineer at Salto Systems, where I design and build robust, scalable cloud services and device integrations for access control systems. I work mostly in Go on the backend, collaborating closely with product, firmware, and other teams.

🌙 By night, I’m a side project enthusiast focused on AI, automation, bots, web scraping, and reverse engineering. I publish some of my work as open source on GitHub and maintain a growing catalog of production ready scrapers and automation tools as a community developer on Apify, with over 50 public actors used by thousands of people every month.

👨‍💻 I’ve loved computers and the craft of coding since I was 16. I started with C, did internships in PHP and Java, spent years working with C#, and these days Go is my language of choice. Becoming a Gopher pushed me to contribute to open source, share what I build, and connect with a wonderful community of developers along the way.

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Outside of code, I’m a triathlete and endurance sports nerd. I used to row at Santiagotarrak before discovering triathlon, and I enjoy diving into sports science to self-coach, plan my own training, and track my performance. Proud sub 2h50 marathoner.

❤️ Above all, I’m a proud husband and father. My amazing wife Nerea and our wonderful children Naia and Ibai are the loves of my life 😍.
